| This series of illustrations depict injuries to the lumbar spine at L5-S1 level which include: Subluxation of L5 anteriorly on S1 with canal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease at this level. Also depicted is a figure showing the radiating pain towards the right leg and a series of epidural injections applied for pain management treatment. The eventual surgical repair include posterior midline incision from L4 to S1, laminectomy from L4 down to S1, discectomy at L5-S1, placement of implant at L5-S1 interspace and hardware placement. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
