This medical exhibit consiss of six images. The first image depicts the pre-operative condition of the left foot. Both the bunion and the 2nd and 3rd claw toe conditions are evident. The second image illustrates the removal of the medial eminence with a sagittal saw and the removal of the cartilage with a bur at the tarsal-metatarsal joint. The third image pictures a Weil osteotomy being performed on the second toe. The fourth image features the placement of the screw in the third toe. Two screws are shown as already having been placed in the second toe. The fifth image depicts the removal of the tip of the third toe. The tip of the second toe is shown as already removed and with k-wires being inserted into it. The sixth image features the placement of the lag screw and plate.
