Tear in Left Bronchus - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit begins with an illustration of the trachea and main bronchi. In the first image, a double lumen tube is in the trachea and the tube and mucus cover the tear in the left bronchus. In the second image, the double lumen tube is replaced with a single lumen tube and the tear of the bronchus is exposed, allowing air to escape into the chest cavity.
