Left Shoulder Injuries with Arthroscopic Repair - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit board illustrates a left shoulder with multiple internal injuries and the subsequent surgery taken to repair them.\r\n\r\nThe left side of the board incorporates two images depicting the injuries, There is both an anterior and lateral view to encompass all the injuries described in the reports, including subacromial impingement, bursitis, hypertrophic synovium and tears in the labrum.\r\n\r\nOn the right side of the board there are four steps of the arthroscopic surgery illustrated. These include the insertion of arthroscopic instruments into the shoulder, the debridement of the glenoid labrum, the removal of the synovium and bursa, and the acromioplasty performed at the joint.\r\n
